Q: When does the registration end? A: The deadline is on the 24 of January, 2010.
Q: Can all students participate in ECV? A: All the participants must pursue a degree in subjects related to Business Administration, Economics or Management. Other subjects do not satisfy the rule despite their similarity to the ECV participant subjects.
Q: Which part of our expenses will be covered? A: Expenses of full board accomodation at the hotel of the competition and local transportation are covered by organizers during the main event (from the 3 March till the 6 March). Participants must pay for travelling costs (to and from Vilnius) and personal expenditure.
Q: One of our team member is sick, can we make a change? A: If the organizers are informed at least 2 days (48 hours) before the main event, the change is possible.
Q: I have participated ECV last year, can I be admitted this year, too? A: Yes, former participants of ECV are not limited in any way.
Q: Can a team be formed of students from more than one university? A: No restrictions apply here. All four team members may be from different universities.
Q: How should we find our accomodation and other places during the main event? A: Each team will have a mentor, you can contact him all the time, he will provide transport facilities in Vilnius.
Q: When will we know our mentor? A: You will be contacted by your mentor about a week before the main event.
Q: What is CELEMI? How long will it take? A: CELEMI is a simulation game which stimulates a real-world economy or business (more details->About the Competition->The Main Event). It will take two days including half-day break in order not to get tired during one day.
Q: When will the participants of ECV'10 be announced? A: On the 15 February, 2010
Q: What happens on the 25 January, 2010? A: Each team will receive the case study task, which candidates must analyze and provide a thorough report about it.
Q: Should every participant stay at the same place as his/her team during the main event? A: Participants are able to choose the accommodation. If they do not live at the hotel provided by organizers, related expenses will not be refunded. On such occasion, team mentor must be informed.
