Once again, congratulations to all the teams, which gained admission to ECV'09. Organizers are eager to see you on 4 March. Since this day has not come yet, we would like to reveal some exciting details about ECV.
First of all, you may have already visited a link called Video Footage. There best moments of EC'08 and all the motivational videos of this year are put. So have a great time while watching ECV masterpieces!
Secondly, as the official simulation provider of ECV'09 is CELEMI, we have prepared a bit of information about them. You may find it here.
Finally soon (probably, today in the evening) all the teams will get a detailed schedule of the event and a survey based on their needs. We are grateful for your patience.
Conference No.1

On the first day of the competition there will be a conference about Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Main topics:
CRM system task and business processes.
CRM suite capabilities: users; workflow and analytics; platform.
CRM implementation. When and why.
World statistics on CRM.
Trends of development and usage.
Lecturer: Mrs. Neringa Romanovskaja
Mrs. Romanovskaja is an international class expert in business process management, whose field of expertise covers sales process design and management. She is one of the 35 certified experts in Solution Selling Process methodology in the world. During 16 years her experience in sales, Mrs. Romanovskaja has collected a tremendous practical experience and knowledge in sales channel and sales process management in the fields of articles and services. Since 2004, she has been working for the company UAB Baltijos tinklas in the position of the General Manager, expert, and is the main shareholder of the company. The company mission is to help clients to optimize their sales processes (B2B, B2C, B2G) and develop their sales teams. Mrs. Romanovskaja is the authorized Sales Performance International Partner. Together with SPI team and independently she has been working with global accounts in IT, TELCO, Manufacturing, Insurance and Logistic industries.

We would like to congratulate all the teams with great work and results. Finally, top 12 teams have been selected for further participation in the competition.
We wish to remind you that CVs were assessed by the organizers, while the case studies were judged by the commission. MTV Networks Baltic evaluated motivational movies of the teams.
Particularly, we would like to congratulate The Saboteurs team which video was chosen as the best motivational movie. Therefore MTV Networks Baltic awarded this team with a place in the main event of ECV'09.

All the teams will get individual letters with detailed information about CV, case studies and motivational video.
Update: We would like to explain some details concerning the assessment. First of all, the maximum evaluation mark for CVs was 1 point. The best motivational video got 2 points. Finally, teams could get up to 9.5 points for their case studies. All the correct answers to the main questions was worth 7 points, while solutions for additional ones could be awarded with up to 2.5 points. So the maximum of the final result was 12.5 points.
We are sorry because of inconvenience due to late published results. Also organizers would like to apologize for possible mistakes in recent emails sent to the teams. However, we ensure you that these results are final, undoubted and irreversible. If any ambiguities arise, please contact us
