History
The opening of ECV’11 was held in a wonderful hall of Vilnius University central building. Greeting marathon started Greta Drūteikienė, VU Faculty of Economics dean of International Relationships Affairs, by welcoming all the participants and wishing them luck. The event was also attended by Martynas Rūkas, the project manager of training and consultancy company “Cesim”. He was happy that the final assembled the most enterprising students of Economics and Business Management. After all the remarkable speeches teams were having a great time by getting to know each other at a cozy restaurant in Vilnius Old town. The next day all the participants were challenged with the simulation that was brought by CESIM. On The third day teams had an opportunity to listen to really interesting and useful lectures. After that, they enjoyed an excursion of Vilnius Old town. The last day participants had to bring analysis for the case study, which was prepared by “Danske Bankas”. The jury consisted of Ramūnas Bičiulaitis, Ingrida Šimonytė, Petras Auštrevičius, Gordon Fyfe and other well-known and competent people.
Finally, came the moment of the winners to be announced. The final part was held on the 31st floor of the business center “Europe” with a wonderful panorama of
